February Favorites – My Must Have List

Oh, February! You are SO much better than January! Overall, you’re just happier! You have the hope of an early Spring {although, not this year!}, a day of love, and most importantly, a week off {Thank you, Presidents!}

I’m here to share a few of my February favorites!

Gobble

You guys are probably tired of hearing that I don’t like to cook. Big news…still don’t! Ha! However, Gobble makes it so easy that I am basically not even cooking.

I’ve tried a few meal prep services over the past few months, but Gobble is hands-down the best. Everything you need for a meal comes prepped and ready in a bag ready to go! On average, it takes about 15 minutes despite their 10-minute claim {maybe I’m a slow cooker!}

Their tag line is Dinner Solved. Ain’t that the truth!

If you sign up using this link, you’ll get two meals for free! Unfortunately, Gobble is currently only on the West Coast, but they’re slowly expanding!

Prynt Camera

Okay, so this Prynt Camera {affiliate link} is a bit of a splurge! But last year JB and I bought one the night before our wedding and it is SO cool!

Basically, you attach this printer case onto your iPhone and take a picture with your phone. But the cool thing is that the picture that prints actually is a short video!! You use the Prynt App to scan the picture and the video plays!

You can add fun emojis and writing right onto the picture, too! It’s SO fun!

Bring Me

Have you seen the Bring Me page pop up in your Facebook feed yet? The editors at Buzzfeed created this amazing page that shares incredible places one should visit in their lifetime!

I’ve already texted my sister-in-law in NY to let her know that she needs to scope out DO for me! You guys, it’s an “ice cream shop” that serves COOKIE DOUGH! How have we lived this long without it??
Another place I need to visit? The Ball Pit Cocktail Lounge in London! Yeah, that needs to happen! Can you imagine drinking bubbles while in bubbles? A girl can dream!

Our Q&A a Day

For our wedding, one of my favorite people {and teachers!} bought JB and me Our Q&A a Day {affiliate link}. Each day there is a question to answer with spots to answer for three years. It’s basically a three-year time capsule and I simply love it!

We’re close to finishing up our first year and I can’t wait to look back as we add more in Year 2 of marriage 🙂

Book of the Month

Book of the Month {affiliate link} is my new obsession!! I’ll share more in my February Bookshelf post at the end of the month, but all you need to know is that it’s a crazy great way to discover new releases cheap! Who doesn’t love mail – especially when it’s books!?

I’ve currently read 2 of my 3 BOTM picks and I’m lovin’ them!

This is Us

Alright, I’m sure I’m preachin’ to the choir here and you probably already watch this amazing show! But if you are not watching This is Us, stop whatever you’re doing and start binge watching it on Hulu or the NBC app. Seriously.

Oh, and grab your tissues.

Sidenote: it is remarkable how many times I can spell the word February incorrectly!

January Must-Haves

Happy New Year! I’ve got a few fun ideas to kick off the new year!

The Peloton App

A few months ago, I was in New York to meet up with some of my favorite people. I somehow talked Greta and Layla into visiting the Peloton Studio in Chelsea for a Spin class. OMG you guys! It’s amazing! Basically, there’s a leaderboard and you’re trying to beat yourself {or let’s be honest…others}

The coolest part about Peloton is that they film the classes so people who own the bike at home {not me!} or those who download the app {me!} can join in at home!

My dream is to own a Peloton at my house, but since we currently live in a shoebox and I don’t want my living room to smell like a gym, I just pay the $13 a month to access all of the classes – both live and On Demand and use one of the bikes at my gym. You should definitely check it out!

Watch Ya’ Mouth

Have you played Watch Ya’ Mouth? {affiliate link} I bought this game for my niece & nephews for Christmas and it was a HUGE hit! We played several times and each time is just as funny as the first!

I am so bummed I didn’t take pictures of all this silliness! I promise it’ll be a crowd pleaser. Best of all, it’s appropriate for all ages!

A Few Books

So I’ve spent a LOT of time this Winter Break reading. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites books! Click the picture to learn more about each book {affiliate links!}

Okay, my absolute favorite of late is Southernmost! Such a sweet story!! I’m a sucker for Southern fiction {says the California girl!}

Winter Street is the final Elin Hildebrand book in her trio of Christmas stories. Just delightful to check in on my friends! {Do you ever feel like you could be friends with characters your read? No, just me?}

Hollywood Dirt is a delightful guilty pleasure read {as are all Alessandra Torre books!} I actually read this a few months ago, but it was so good, I thought I’d include it! I recently discovered that it’s going to be a movie too – can’t wait!

Amazon Fire Stick

I LOVE to spend time over Winter Break {or really any weekend!} binge watching shows! You can’t go wrong with the Kindle Fire Stick {affiliate link}. I have an Apple TV, too and this is WAY easier to use! It’s even voice activated so you can even be lazy about finding your shows!

Grab Bag Galore {2017 Edition}

I am SO excited that the 2017 Grab Bag Galore {2017 Edition} is in my store!

If you’re not familiar with the Grab Bag here’s the deal: it’s a growing bundle that I throw random stuff into each month. I make the goodies as I need them or inspiration strikes! The sooner you buy it, the cheaper it is! But, by the end of the year, it will be filled with at least $40 worth of stuff!

December Favorites

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’m here with December Favorites!

For months, I’ve been keeping a little secret to myself – NAEIR! You guys…you’re either gonna love me or hate me – because your classroom budget will be blown out the door after you visit this website!!

Essential Oils

I have tasted the Essential Kool-Aid and I want more! I always thought that oils were just to diffuse. My oh my, was I wrong! I’ve made all sorts of lotions, potions, and cures 🙂

I’ve even made a Pinterest board if you need some inspiration!

I bought my essential oils from my friend, Valentine! You should definitely add the starter kit to your Christmas wishlist!

But if you don’t want the whole YL kit and caboodle, start small! Buy a diffuser from Amazon and a few oils to get started! My favorite oils are Peppermint and Lemon!

There are so many ‘recipes’ out there to stay healthy as the weather drops!

Wellness Formula

Speaking of staying healthy…you need to order yourself some Wellness Formula. A coworker shared this little secret with me a few years ago and {knock on wood} it’s actually prevented me from getting sick!

At the first sign of malaise, you simply take a few a few capsules and drink a bunch of water! Voila – you stay healthy!
