One fun activity we work on in First Grade is fact vs. opinion.
My oh my, is this tricky!  Especially when you’ve taught it on the heels of true vs. false!

  1. I am VERY interested in your Let's Learn About the World, especially because you highlighted Africa. I don't teach about the continents, but there is a story coming up in our reading series in about 4 weeks on Jane Goodall and her work with the chimpanzees and I had been tinkering with the idea of doing a study with the students on Africa. This looks fantastic! (I see you had it posted in time for the latest TpT sale–that was nice!. I didn't discover it until today, but I've put it on my wishlist!)
